What an affiliate link means

Some links on Meej Finds are affiliate links. If you follow one and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer. Every article that contains affiliate links says so before the first recommendation, so you can take it into account before you click.

Where an article says a commission comes at no additional cost to you, it means that following the link does not change the price the retailer shows you. It is not a statement that the price is the lowest available or the same at every retailer.

Other programs

We do not currently use other affiliate programs. If that changes, this page and the relevant articles will be updated, and the wording will name the transaction that actually applies, such as qualifying bookings for travel services.

Research, products, and samples

For the first release, our only commercial compensation is ordinary affiliate commissions. We have no brand sponsorships, paid placements, or free product samples. If our commercial relationships change, we will update this disclosure and disclose the relevant relationship alongside the affected recommendations.

Whether a link earns a commission does not change the facts we report or the trade-offs we describe. Our guides are based on manufacturers’ published specifications and other cited sources; unless an article states otherwise, we have not tested the products. If we ever receive a gifted product, a paid placement, or another material benefit, we will say so where the recommendation appears.

Prices, purchases, and availability

We do not display prices, discounts, stock levels, or retailer ratings, because they change. Orders, payments, delivery, returns, and warranties are handled by the retailer or manufacturer.
